Co-Founder & Chairman

PROF. S.S. CHAKRABORTY, Co-Founder & Chairman SVBTC, TransAsia and Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CES(I) Pvt. Ltd. Over the past 50 years, he has been involved in the infrastructure sector and his milestone works include the Vidyasagar Bridge and the Second Vivekananda Bride Tollway in West Bengal, major highways & bridges across India and the Mass Rapid Transit System in New Delhi & Kolkata. He is a member of Several National & International Committees, and Fellow, National Academy of Engineering of India & Distinguished Visiting Professor, and recipient of a number of national and international awards.

Co-Founder & Managing Director

DR. RAVINDRA VERMA, Co-Founder & Managing Director, SVBTC, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, TransAsia. Over the past 30 years, he has actively participated in major transport infrastructure privatization initiatives in India, South East Asia & USA. His experience includes the Second Vivekananda Bridge Tollway, Metro Manila Skyway and other Tollways in the Philippines & South East Asia, and Bridges and Tollway in California, USA. He holds a Ph.D. in bridge engineering from the University of California. San Diego, USA.


MR. S.G. SHYAM SUNDAR  has over 19 years of experience in India’s infrastructure sector is presently Managing Director with Morgan Stanley Infrastructure (“MSI”), one of the world’s leading infrastructure investing platforms. Prior to joining MSI, he was one of the founding members of IDFC Private Equity (now IDFC Alternatives), a leading investment manager in India. At IDFC, he led 16 investments in a range of infrastructure sectors such as power, telecom, oil & gas, roads, seaports, airports, shipping, and logistics, with 13 exits including three successful IPOs. Previously, he was with the infrastructure group of ICICI Bank and also worked with ICICI Securities, at that time ICICI’s investment banking joint venture with JP Morgan. He received an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management and a B.E. (Mechanical) from Anna University in Chennai.


MS. AMI MOMAYA is an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley, joined it in 2004. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Infrastructure in 2008, where she was the first employee recruited for the India infrastructure business, she was with Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division in New York where she focused on buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and financings in services, outsourcing and payment processing sectors. Prior to her investment banking role in New York, She was a part of the global offshoring Investment Banking team based out of Mumbai. She received an MBA in Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, a Bachelors of Commerce from R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, India.


MR. BRIJESHWAR SINGH served 35 years in the Indian Administration Service (IAS) and held several important positions in the Union Government and the Tamil Nadu Government including Additional Chief Secretary, Tamil Nadu and Chairman National Highway Authority of India. He has served on the Boards of several public companies since 1986, and was also an Independent Director of NBCC. He holds post graduate degrees in Economics from the University of Delhi and the University of Oxford.


MR. BRIAN PARK graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University with a BA in both Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics. Mr. Park is an Associate at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners LP ("MSIP"). He has previously worked with Mergers & Acquisitions team of Merrill Lynch.
